The coaches corner is a place to enhance your sports education. The goal of this area is to assist you in developing better players and better people for future success at whatever level you might be at. 2025-2026 Coaches Registration
USA Hockey Coaches Education Program
All Youth Hockey coaches MUST be certified by USA Hockey before they can coach. Please check your certification expiration. You must periodically attend Coaching Education Program sessions to be re-certified. Coaches holding a CEP Level 4 do not have to re-certify. For the 2025-2026 season, if you are a squirt/10u or higher coach and your last CEP says December 31st 2024 (or before), you MUST re-certify THIS year! GETTING ON THE ICE IN 2025
All coaches must attend SRYHA Coaches Meeting, register with USA Hockey and SRYHA, finish age-specific modules, concussion training, background check, and SafeSport training prior to being on the ice.
All Head Coaches must fill out and submit Coach Concussion Certification.
Student Coaches
If you are a high school hockey player interested in helping out with coaching Youth Hockey this year, you need to be registered with USA Hockey as a Player and added to the Official Team Roster. If you are interested please email Jason Ellering @ je.stormhockey@gmail.com
You will need to provide the following:
1. USA Hockey Student Coach Information Form

3. One copy of your OFFICIAL-CERTIFIED state-issued birth certificate
